Help us to see what is important, what is Eternal, and what is lasting. Let us make decisions based on our eternal life and not on temporal possessions. Help us to put into practice the timeless truths found in Your Word. And most of all Father, Thank You for Loving us!

Our Church Ministries

Children's Ministry

At Piney Grove, we believe it is important to teach children to love Jesus and to live in a way that is pleasing to Him.  We take seriously the opportunity God has given us to impact your children’s lives for eternity.  We have programs for all ages to ensure that each child hears God’s Word, knows God’s Word, and is able to develop a strong foundation of faith.  We welcome the opportunity to help you establish a solid, Biblical foundation in the lives of your children!

The Nursery Ministry is staffed by devoted volunteers who provide tender care and developmental activities for small children (infants through age 2).  Nursery Ministry is offered Sunday mornings.

C-4 KidZone (Children's Church) is for ages 4 through third grade and is held each Sunday at 10:45 am.  Parents are encouraged to drop off their children at 10:30 am before proceeding to the main worship service.  Your children will be handled by loving, caring volunteers. C4KIDZone offers your child the opportunity to participate in music, crafts and Biblical learning that will give them a good foundation to live out their faith.

Vacation Bible School is the exciting summertime ministry of our church. VBS offers children and teens a week-long emphasis in Bible study, prayer, singing, recreation, creativity, and fellowship. Through intensive promotion and outreach, we seek to enroll children and youth in the church and in the community.

1T4:12 Live Youth Ministry, directed by our team of Christian adults who are dedicated to helping teens (grades 6-12) understand and apply the Bible’s absolute truths to the issues and questions faced by today’s youth. Teens are invited to share in various ministry projects and Christ-centered recreation events which serve as worthwhile alternatives to less constructive activity. The Youth gather for Bible learning, fellowship, every Sunday at 6:00 pm and Sunday's mornings at 9:30 am.

"Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord..."  Psalm 127:3

Adult ministry

W.I.N.G.S. (Women IN God's Service), The Women's Ministry, helps lead the church's support of mission projects, missions education, and prayer for missionaries. This vital group conducts regular meetings and holds special events which foster spiritual enrichment for participants. The ladies also respond faithfully to needs and ministry opportunities in the church and community.  The Bereavement Food Groups are extensions of our Women’s Ministries.

The PGBF Men's Ministry seeks to fulfill the Great Commission by engaging in mission work within our community and beyond. The Men take part in regular scheduled projects to help those in need. They gather for prayer, spiritual enrichment and fellowship.

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms."  1 Peter 4:10

Music ministry

The Music Ministry plans and seeks to involve the congregation to worship God through the singing of Christian hymns and praise songs. The ministry also offers opportunities for involvement in various musical venues such as the Praise Team, as well as special groups, solos, and the playing of instruments.

The Multi-Media Ministry offers an opportunity for individuals with talents in the realms of audio, visual, and social media.

Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises!  Psalm 98:4

"And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”  Matthew 28:18-20
